Emwicon releases the new WiFi 6/6e modules WMX7408 and WMX7409 for enterprise and access point applications. The chipsets CL8040 and CL8046 from Renesas Celeno are used. Both modules support Dual Band Simulataniously (DBS) communication – the WMX7408 for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and the WMX7409 for 5 GHz and 6 GHz. Additional features include 2T2R DL/UL MU-MIMO and DL/UL MU-OFDMA and up to 160 MHz channel bandwidth. These WLAN modules come in the PCIe Mini Card form factor and are specified for a temperature range of -40°C – +85°C.
