Vox Power Ltd., Designers of the world’s smallest configurable power supply (NEVO600), announced today that [in response to customer demand] it has released the enhanced NEVO+ series of Medical and Industrial modular power supplies and an extended range of output modules.
The NEVO+ Series features improved input line ratings and can deliver the full 600 watts of output power for all input line voltages above 120VAC. The NEVO+ also features reduced fan noise at light loads through the implementation of a unique fan control circuit which controls fan speed based on load current and internal NEVO+ temperatures. The NEVO+ Series will allow existing NEVO users to upgrade their configurable solutions for Global usage while using the same footprint.
Output Module 4 (OP4) which has an output voltage range from 18 to 58VDC with a maximum output power of 150 Watts has also just been released. OP4 now allows NEVO users to configure the full complement of SELV output voltages from 1V8 to 58V with ease. OP4 will soon be followed with the release of an isolated Dual Channel Output module (OP5) delivering 75 watts per channel with an output voltage range from 2 to 18VDC. This will not only allow system designers to reduce overall system cost but also allow up to 8 isolated outputs in one 3 x 5 inch unique solution.
Each system consists of an input module together with up to four isolated output modules. The series carry full UL60950 and UL60601 safety approvals and comply with EN61000-3, EN61000-4 and EN550022-B EMC standards. All NEVO products are produced in CPIPL, a manufacturing facility which has received numerous Quality and Manufacturing awards from noted bodies such as Dun & Bradstreet, Elcina and Frost & Sullivan.
